AHK-Cu 100mg peptide
AHK-Cu 100mg peptide: a research vial of AHK-Cu, a copper-bound peptide of alanine, histidine and lysine whose whole record in our search is one 2007 lab study; Peptides Hanoi links that paper and does not borrow the larger GHK-Cu record.

What is AHK-Cu?
AHK-Cu 100mg is a three amino acid peptide joined to copper. Its research, as far as our search found, is one lab study on human hair follicles.
Alanine, histidine and lysine, bound to copper: that is AHK-Cu. It is a close cousin of GHK-Cu, yet the two have separate research.
Nothing found for GHK-Cu carries over to it, and this entry borrows none of it.
What the one PubMed paper cited for AHK-Cu looked at, 2007
Human hair follicles were grown in a dish in a 2007 lab study, with and without AHK-Cu, and the team measured how the follicles grew.
The same study counted dermal papilla cells. These cells sit at the base of a hair and govern its growth.
That single study is the whole record our search found. With no animal study or human trial found, everything here is cosmetic and hair research in a laboratory.

Reading the AHK-Cu record
A single lab study is a narrow base. The 2007 paper grew human hair follicles in a dish with AHK-Cu, measured their growth, and counted dermal papilla cells, the root cells that control hair growth.
What a dish cannot show is how a follicle behaves inside living skin. The follicles in the study were held apart from the body, so the study describes the dish and nothing beyond it.
So this page presents AHK-Cu as a peptide with one lab study on hair follicles, and stops there. It does not borrow the larger record of GHK-Cu to fill the gap.
Two terms help here. Dermal papilla cells sit at the root of a hair and control its growth. GHK-Cu, the better known cousin, is also a three amino acid copper peptide, but its research is separate and much larger.
Its three amino acids are alanine, histidine and lysine, the A, H and K of its name, and the Cu stands for copper. The 2007 study appeared in Archives of Pharmacal Research, and it remains the only study found. Anyone citing this page should cite that one paper, and no more.
Questions about AHK-Cu
Is there human research on AHK-Cu?
No. The only study found is a 2007 lab study on human hair follicles grown in a dish.
Can GHK-Cu studies be applied to AHK-Cu?
No. The peptides are related, but each has research of its own, and GHK-Cu has the larger record.
What is the difference between AHK-Cu and GHK-Cu?
One amino acid at the start: alanine in AHK-Cu, glycine in GHK-Cu, and both carry copper. The records differ far more. AHK-Cu has a single 2007 lab study on hair follicles, while GHK-Cu has a longer record that includes one small trial in people.
